Denzel C. Carpenter, 63, of Adrian, Mich., died June 9, 2020, at ProMedica Bixby Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 29, 1956, to William and Lorena (Pike) Carpenter. He married Pamela Glore on May 1, 1982, in Canandaigua and she survives.
Denzel was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He enjoyed volunteering at Habitat for Humanity ReStore and loved his Mt. Dew. His church memberships include West Fulton Dunkard Brethen Church in Wauseon and Canandaigua Community Church.
In addition to his wife, Denzel is survived by two children, Anthony Carpenter of Adrian and Ashley (and Howard) Carpenter of Saline, Mich.; three brothers, Robert (and Clarice), Ronald (and Cindy) and Richard Carpenter; and four sisters, Carolyn Carpenter, Joan (and Art) Wheeler, Jan (and Mike) Snedeker, and Jeanie (and Jim) Karabinus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are planned at 2 p.m. Monday, June 15, at Canandaigua Community Church, with Pastor Jerry Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci.
