Janet Marie Stutzman Keller, 69, of Douglasville, Ga., died Sept. 23, 2019.
Janet was born in Wauseon, Ohio, on June 4, 1950, daughter of Bessie Irene Fike Stutzman Raymond, and the late John David Stutzman.
Janet collected owls and loved birds, flowers and cooking. She loved children, especially her children and grandchildren. Janet operated a family daycare in her home for 36 years. She was a member of Douglasville First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and performed in cantatas, and was a member of the United Methodist Women and Sunday School.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Douglas Keller; children, Michael (and Cheryl) Keller of Douglasville, Christina (and Sean) Martelino of Winston, Ga., Nicholas (and Kimberly) Keller of Dallas, Ga., and Jonathon (and Carrie) Keller of Winston; grandchildren, Erynn and Matt Palmer, Elizabeth Worthington, Breanna Keller, Kyle Martelino, Ryan Martelino, Jacob Keller, Jude Keller, Jill Keller, Joshua Keller, Luke Keller, and Claire Keller; sisters, Linda (and Bill) Baker, Judy (and Leonard) Mitchell, Jacqueline Prielipp, and Kathy (and Lee) Raymond-Merkle; brother, David (and Nancy) Stutzman; mother, Bessie “Irene” Fike Stutzman Raymond of Seneca, Mich.; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jack Raymond.
Visitation is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Hightower Funeral Home in Douglasville. Funeral services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the funeral home, with Dr. Nicholas Keller officiating.
Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Oct. 1 in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga., with Dr. Nicholas Keller officiating.
