Wilbert R. “Webb” Knicley, 80, of Lyons, Ohio, died Aug. 18, 2019, at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio.
He was born July 13, 1939, in Parsons, W.V., to Charles and Goldie (Long) Knicley.
Webb worked as a machinist for Teladyne in Toledo for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing.
Webb is survived by four daughters, Irene Ailiff of Lyons, Grace (and David) Groves of Lake Seneca, Ohio, Theresa Knicley of Sylvania, Ohio, and Dawn (and Kevin) Mull of Delta, Ohio; two brothers, Bill Knicley of Medina, Ohio, and John (and Donna) Knicley of Fayette, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Fred, Charles "Chuck" and Tonya; three wives, Martha Meade, Mary Wotring, and Patricia Dewey; and three sisters, Alice, Anna Mae and Ellen.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Eagle Funeral Home in Morenci, with Rev. Mike Harbor officiating. Burial will follow at Lyons Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
