Mary Hall, 96, of Lyons, Ohio, died May 20, 2019, at her home.
Mary was born March 20, 1923, in Fulton County, the daughter of John Ondrejka and Susie Prieba.
Mary was a 1941 graduate of Lyons High School. She married George William Hall on Sept. 20, 1942, and he preceded her in death. Together, they owned and operated Hall’s Market in Lyons for 30 years, and were also farmers.
Mary was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and the Lyons Historical Society. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, growing flowers and being outdoors. One of her passions was caring for others, so much so that she acquired her STNA nursing certificate at the age of 72.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Corbin of Lyons; grandson, Jassen (and Patti) Corbin; and great-granddaughter, Alli Corbin.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Susie Bezek.
Visitation is planned from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 22, at Eagle Funeral Home in Morenci, followed immediately by funeral services, with Pastor Darren Lemmon officiating. Burial will follow in Lyons Cemetery.
