Corey “CK” J. Keller (CK), 43, of Westerville, Ohio, died at his home March 9, 2019.
Corey was born July 15, 1975, in Adrian, Mich., to John and Nancy (Rickard) Keller. He graduated from Evergreen High School in 1993 and from the Ohio State University in 2001, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in human ecology. On Aug. 10, 2011, he married Angela Morgan.
Corey loved activities with his dog, Remy, including walking, swimming, and trips to the dog park.
He was a food and cooking enthusiast. He loved watching food shows and then venturing out with Angie to the many different restaurants that he saw or trying out the recipes and making up his own. He loved Buckeye football and NASCAR. Corey loved being knowledgeable about everything and constantly watched documentaries and listened to podcasts and shared what he learned with everyone.
Corey worked for Worthington Industries as a central buyer. He often spent time with his coworkers, playing golf, going to sporting events and enjoying cocktails.
In addition to his wife, Corey is survived by a stepson, Jake Weber; his mother, Nancy Keller of Lyons, Ohio; brothers, Jeffrey (and Christy) Keller of Statesville, N.C. and Brian Keller of Lyons; in-laws Wendy and Mark Swiczkoski of Delta, Ohio; sister-in-law Kelly Morgan of Wauseon, Ohio; and nieces and nephew Carly, Mia, Chloe and Joaquin.
Corey was preceded in death by his father, John Keller.
Visitation is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora where a memorial service celebrating Corey’s life will begin at 4 p.m.
