Bob Donahue, 90, of Lyons, Ohio, died Aug. 4, 2018. Friends are invited to say goodbye to Bob if they wish, and wear your jeans and something green.
Bob was born Sept. 23, 1927, to Arthur and Daisy (Robasser) Donahue. He was a 1945 graduate of Lyons High School and served in the Korean War, attaining the rank of sergeant. His company was the Seventh Division Headquarters, 17th Infantry Regiment. Bob was employed by Tecumseh Products Company for more than 40 years.
Bob and Kitty Langenderfer were married May 9, 1953.
In addition to his wife, Kitty, he is survived by five daughters, Debbie May of Cleveland, Ohio, Kathie (and Bryon) Brock of Swanton, Ohio, Pattie (and the late James) Deakin of Glendale, Ariz., Mollie (and Jeff) Youtzy of Metamora, Ohio, and Peggie (and Paul) Haywood of Dayton, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ronnie and Dennis; daughter-in-law Karen; great-grandson Nash; brothers, Gerald, Raymond and Bill; and a sister, Allison.
Visitation is planned from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Eagle Funeral Home in Morenci, with a service of remembrance beginning at 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Evergreen Track or ProMedica Hospice of Sylvania.
