Kathryn Ruth Crist, 67, of Waldron, Mich., died Sept. 9, 2017, at Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio.
Kathryn was born June 23, 1950, in Morenci, the daughter of the late Paul Russell and Ila Ruth (Hall) Crist.
Kathryn was a 1968 graduate of Waldron High School and furthered her education at Jackson Business College. After college, Kathryn sought employment at Hillsdale College, where she worked as a secretary. She later worked at Hillsdale Hospital, where she served more than 30 years in the medical records department.
In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, and for many years belonged to the Just for Fun League in Williams County, Ohio. She also enjoyed reading novels of all genres, shopping via QVC, and keeping in contact with her friends and coworkers from the hospital. Most especially, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
Kathryn is survived her brother, Michael (and Krystal) Crist of Waldron; two nephews, Christopher (and Jennifer) Crist of Pioneer, Ohio, and Eric (and Kristan) Crist of Waldron; four great-nieces and nephews, Aimee, Logan, Evan and Ava; and several cousins.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson, with Steve Masters officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Ransom Township. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
