Maynard “Tiny” Hal Lowe, 64, died June 14, 2017, after a short illness at Toledo Hospital. He was a former resident of Morenci, Mich.
He was born Oct. 20, 1952, the son of Truman Lowe, Jr., and Emma (Graybill) Lowe Escott.
He was a 1971 graduate of Morenci Area High School. He had a passion for riding his Harley throughout the United States on his many adventures. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad, based in Chicago, Ill., after 37 years, and moved to Apache Junction, Ariz., for the winter months and lived with his sister in Toledo, Ohio, during the summer.
In addition to his mother, Maynard is survived by a sister, Donna Lowe; nieces, Crista Owens and Love (and Michelle) Owens; great-nephews, Lord Dorian Truman and Taj Vans Lee; step-sisters, Rhonda (and John) Boudrie and Deb (deceased, and Craig) White and their families; plus many uncles, aunts and cousins from both the Lowe and Graybill sides.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service is planned at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Morenci’s Green Valley Campground, with Marty Lowe officiating.
