Clyde Flint, Jr., 90, of Adrian, Mich., died at Lenawee Medical Care Facility Oct. 20, 2016.
He was born Dec. 9, 1925 in rural Morenci, Mich., to Clyde and Edna (Sebring) Flint. He attended Clayton High School and was in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946, serving in the Pacific Theater. On Dec. 10, 1949, he married Bernice Dusha and she survives.
Clyde was associated with Kewanee Scientific Corporation, retiring in 1986. He later was with Shepherd and Stoll Pharmacy and Rite Aid for many years. He attended Bethany Assemblies Church. He enjoyed collecting antiques and attending antique shows.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; his two daughters, Pamela (and Michael) Guistino of Onsted, Mich., and Jackie (and Charles) McCary of Adrian; three grandchildren, Matt Lacey of New York, Brian (and Beth) McCary, Janelle (and Tim) Lothamer of Adrian; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Leah, Aiden and Owen; a sister, Rose Sallows of Morenci; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Virginia Blohm, Marguerite Fox, Shirley Brock, Gertie Bailey, and JoAnn Poll; and two brothers, Gene Flint and Larry Gray.
Funeral services are planned at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at Wagley Funeral Home, with Linda Brown officiating and military honors conducted by the Annis-Fint Post #1584 and the American Legion Post #97 of Adrian. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in Adrian.
