Anna Lou Lantz, 76, of Fayette, Ohio, died March 9, 2011, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio.
She was born July 16, 1934, in Chesterfield Township, Ohio, the daughter of Lenard and Clara Louise (Brown) Sallows. She married Raymond “Ralph” Lantz on Sept. 3, 1966, in Morenci, Mich. He preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1978.
Anna Lou was one of 10 siblings, the youngest of the five girls. She was a life-long resident of the Morenci area, graduating from Chesterfield High School in 1952. She was formerly employed at Morenci Rubber Products in Morenci from where she retired after failing health in the mid-1970s. She was an active member of the Fayette Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include six sons, Rodney (and Carole) Biddix of Grant, Ala., Randy (and Edna) Biddix of Jackson; Robin (and Tammy) Biddix of Toledo, Ohio, Raymond (and Tammy) Lantz of Edgerton, Ohio, Robert Lantz of Sherwood, Ohio, and Rex Lantz of Fayette; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Sallows Woodward, of Blissfield.
Besides her husband, Anna Lou was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral service are planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Rev. Paul Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or to the Fayette Church of The Nazarene.
