Irene Cochrane, 90, of Morenci, Mich., died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at the Fulton Manor in Wauseon, Ohio.
She was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Reading, Mich., the daughter of Owen and Letha (Mann) Aemisegger. On June 28, 1941, in Reading she married Herbert “Bill” Cochrane and he survives.
Irene was a graduate of Reading High School and has lived in the Morenci since 1965, moving from Quincy.
Besides her husband, Irene is survived by three daughters, Carol (and Larry) Clymer of Wauseon, Ohio, Beverly (and Don) Zuvers of Morenci, and Sharon (and Ernie) Hicks of Montpelier, Ohio; a son, Gary (and Tammy) Cochrane of Wauseon; a daughter-in-law, Cherie Cochrane; one sister, Violet Cors of LaFayette, Ind.; two brothers, Lewis (and Louise) Aemisegger of Chelsea, Mich., Robert (and Barb) Aemisegger of Toledo, Ohio, three sisters-in-law, Eloise Aemisegger of Coldwater, Mich., Phyllis Aemisegger of Hillsdale, Mich., and Betty Aemisegger of Reading; 15 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bob, in 2006; a sister, Alice Aemisegger; three brothers, Ron, Dewaine and Richard Aemisegger; and a granddaughter, Joie Redlawski.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Rev. Dennis Owens officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
