Sue Spencer, 81, of St. Helen, Mich., died May 21, 2010, at the West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch, Mich.
She was born Sept. 27, 1928, in Delta, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Valleda (Bittikofer) Mizer. On Sept. 26, 1953, in Delta, she married Arlington “Wink” Frantz. He preceded her in death July 28, 1980. On Sept. 20, 1985, in Delta, she married Merlyn “Bud” Spencer and he survives.
Sue lived in the Morenci, Mich., area most of her life, working at Toledo Trust in Toledo, Ohio, and then at 1st Federal in Wauseon, Ohio, from where she retired in 1984, after 14 years of service.
Besides her husband, Sue is survived by three daughters, Debby (and Rick) Gleckler of Wauseon, Ohio, Lynne (and Kenneth) Shadbolt of Morenci and Karen (and Tim) Donahue Pinkelman of Lyons, Ohio; two sons, Jeffrey (and Lori) Frantz of Clinton, Mich., and Michael Frantz of Morenci; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Keller of Delta and Donna Ellis of Colchester, Vermont; and two brothers, Jack Mizer of Sylvania, Ohio, and Tom Mizer of Medina, Ohio.
Besides her first husband, Wink, Sue was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Iris Mizer; and a son in law, Dennis Donahue.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Pastor Mitch Maxted officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
