I’m writing in regard to a column that was written in the July first Observer by Rich Foley. I always look forward every week to see what he has to say.
I agree too much attention has been given to Michael Jackson and I think that Farrah Fawcett was lost in all the news about Michael Jackson.
To me, and I can only speak for me, Farrah was an icon. Yes, she hasn’t done anything in years, but she still was and yet is loved and missed by many.
She was a brave woman to put herself in the public eye when she was battling cancer. As a cancer survivor myself, I could identify with what she was going through. At least we knew what she passed away from and it wasn’t drugs.
