Always a Vereecke

I feel sorry for Sue Heiney and Jill Mannschreck. It was still a little early to know that every Vereecke girl was chosen homecoming queen, just like their mother was years before. Melony (right) was the queen. Other members of the court in 1977 were freshman Jeanie Emmons, sophomore Lisa Crowell and junior Cindy Singles. Blissfield came from behind to win the football game, 19-6. Mark Ries served as Morenci’s quarterback.
