On Fresh Air today, Terry Gross is speaking with Dexter Filkins, the New York Times writer who broke the news about Afghanistan receiving bags of cash from Iran. Gross asked for details about the bags – trash bags? Filkins said there’s been a variety of bag styles over the years, some of which goes to Taliban leaders. What a mess we’re in.
