A little off the front, please

What’s the fastest growing segment of the cosmetic surgery industry? According to a BBC report, it’s breast reduction surgery for men. Did I really just type that? Let me check the story again. It must be true; there’s an accompanying photo:

Consultant plastic surgeon Rajiv Grover said that while the problem of so-called “man-boobs” – or “gynaecomastia” in official language – was not a new one, it had been thrust into prominence by media coverage.

He said: “Many men are feeling the pressure from men’s magazines that weren’t even being published five or six years ago.

“In addition, they are just realising that they can get something done about it.”

A LIE, TONY?: Debate about the invasion of Iraq hasn’t died off in England. Tony Blair’s former international development secretary has testified that he lied and mislead in the run-up to war. There were obviously some disagreements between the two:

Declassified letters between Short and Blair released today show she believed that invading Iraq without a second UN resolution would be illegal and there was a significant risk of a humanitarian catastrophe.

WORDLE: Ever hear of a wordle? It’s a word that hurts my ears. Here’s an example of one.
