Nancy Ann Eisel, 71, of rural Alvordton, Ohio, died Feb. 22, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio.
She was born Dec. 4, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles and Dorothy (Baker) Gelsleichter. She married Charles S. Eisel on Feb. 4, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio, and he survives.
Nancy graduated from St. Ursula Academy High School and earned an associate’s degree from Northwest State Community College in Archbold. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church and Altar Rosary Society in Fayette, Ohio. Nancy and Charles spent the last eight winters in Picacho Peak, Ariz.
Besides her husband, Nancy is survived by five daughters, Pamela (and Richard) Rosema of Augusta, Ga., Cindi (and Dennis) Siegel of Alvordton, Ohio, Vicki (and Tom) Gray of Waterville, Ohio, Dianne (and Jeffrey) Cole of Ottawa Lake, Mich., and Kristi (and Alan) Krathwohl of Macomb, Mich.; eight sons, Stephen (and Kit) of Kennett Square, Pa., Edward (and Amber Ebersole) and Douglas (and Loretta), both of Alvordton, Ohio, Dale (and Kimmy Lorenc) of St. Louis, Mo., Charles of Brownstown, Mich., Matthew (and Tammy) of Swanton, Ohio, Patrick of Toledo, Ohio, and Brian (and Misty) of Pioneer, Ohio; one brother, Jan (and Sue) Gelsleichter of Tucson, Ariz.; 31 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial was Feb. 27 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Fayette with Fr. Gary Ferguson as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to a Memorial Mass for Nancy Ann Eisel or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements were handled by Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette.
