Brian “Tex” Phillip Ludwick, 52, of Fremont, Ind., and formerly of Morenci, Mich., died July 18, 2017, at his home in Fremont, Ind., following a battle with cancer.
He was born June 26, 1965, in Sturgis, Mich., and attended Bronson High School.
Among his interests in life were NASCAR, playing cards, bowling and being with his friends and family. He was known as a handyman and could fix just about anything. He also worked in construction and landscaping, and currently was working for the Menard’s Distribution Center at Holiday City, Ohio.
Brian is survived by his sons, Corey (and Brittany) Elliott and Brandon Ludwick, both of Angola, Ind.; his mother, Sandra M. (Prough) Rozell of Fremont; two sisters, Kim (and Marty) McNeal of Fremont, and Maria (and Lyle) Tritch of Coldwater, Mich.; three grandchildren, Alice, Laila and Keagon; a niece, Erin Vierling; and nephews Trevor Vierling and Samuel Beaber.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Joseph Ludwick, and his step-father, Charles Duane Rozell.
Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life is planned from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Fremont Moose Lodge.
