Marylene D. Friedhoff, 74, of Fayette, Ohio, died July 8, 2017, at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 1, 1943, to Robert and Dorthea (Dishong) Osenbaugh. On June 3, 1961, she married Clair Friedhoff in Findlay, Ohio, and he survives.
Marylene graduated from Leipsic (Ohio) High School and worked for nearly 20 years at La Choy in Archbold, Ohio, before taking time off to care for her mother. Later she worked at Kaiser’s Supermarket and Sterling Food Store in Fayette.
Marylene enjoyed reading, crafts and crocheting. She was skilled at needlework and, in the early years of her marriage, sewed many of her daughters’ clothes.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Daun (and Sean Pettit) Musser of Bryan, Ohio; Lisa (and Miguel) Rodriguez of Fayette; and Kelly (and Robert) Snyder of Bryan; a sister, Shirley (and Don) Schortgen of Chestnutridge, Mo.; six grandchildren, Nichole, Josh, Justin, Jason, Klay and Britt; and six great-grandchildren, Conor, Gabby, Brynn, Nayah, Jayden and Camden.
In addition to her parents, Marylene was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Osenbaugh.
Funeral services are planned at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette, with Pastor Paul Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and also for an hour before the service on Wednesday, beginning at noon.
