Patsy Ann Lakatos, 72, of Adrian, Mich., died March 16, 2017, at Charlotte Stephenson Manor.
She was born on March 25, 1944, in Adrian to Alex and Marcella (VanBrandt) Lakatos.
While attending Sand Creek High School, Patsy played the trumpet as a member of the band and graduated in 1962. She earned a a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Michigan State University and taught at Lincoln Park Elementary School from 1966 until 2004.
Patsy was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and was currently attending Weston United Methodist Church. She was a member of the State Line Hustlers 4-H club where she participated in many project areas. Patsy enjoyed roller skating, traveling, Bingo, playing cards and spending time with family.
She is survived by her brother, Edward (and Debbie) Lakatos; nephews, Patrick (and Gail) Lakatos and Cameron (and Vaughn) Lakatos; great-nephews, Trevor Lakatos, Landon Lakatos and Pierce Lakatos.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Michael.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at Weston United Methodist Church.
