Allen Kime, 53, of rural Fayette, Ohio, died Nov. 14, 2016, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, following cardiac arrest.
Allen was born Dec. 9, 1962, the son of Glenn and Hazel (Girdham) Kime. His mother survives in Waterville, Ohio.
Al attended Morenci Area High School and has worked at Crop Production Services in Morenci for more than 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and working on cars, and he was a fan of both auto and horse racing. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Allen is survived by siblings, Jeanie (and Paul) Bachman of Wauseon, Ohio, Linda (and Mike) Frank of Delta, Ohio, Ken (and Bonnie) Kime of Morenci, Mick (and Lynette) Kime of Delta, and Violet (and Jim) Kiefer of Sylvania, Ohio; his longtime companion, Ilah Ward of Morenci; nieces and nephews, Erin, Evan, Adam, Ethan, Joni, Ish, Kenneth, Ann, Chris, Melanie, Rachel, Ashley, Adam, Tyler, Michael, and Steven; step-children, Michael Kurowicki II of Tecumseh, Mich., Jessica Kurowicki of Adrian, Mich., Kimberly Ward of Huntington, Ind., Andrew (and Clarice) Harmor of Orville, Ohio, and Melissa Harmor of McMinnville, Tenn.; aunts and uncles, Roy (and Laurel) Girdham, Laura (and Oscar) Weible, and Leonard (and Virginia) Kime; and several step-grandchildren and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and a great-niece, Mysti Snyder.
Funeral services are planned at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Eagle Funeral Home in Morenci, with Pastor Eric Markovich officiating. Burial will follow in Tedrow Cemetery in Tedrow, Ohio. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
