Margaret E. Bibler, 86, of North Baltimore, Ohio, and formerly of Fayette, Ohio, died Nov. 1, 2016, at the Briar Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore.
She was born March 13, 1930, in Hoytville, Ohio, to the late Henry A. and Blossom Mae (Reynolds) Scheerer. She married William “Bill” Bibler on June 17, 1951, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2003.
Margaret was a 1948 graduate of McComb High School and retired as a secretary from the North Baltimore School System. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, North Baltimore, where she had been active in the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Gideons Auxiliary in Wood County.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Tami S. (and Don) Thomas of North Baltimore; her son, Dr. W. Bradford (and Tammy) Bibler of Granville, Ohio; her brother, Henry "Mick" (and Loretta) Scheerer, Jr., of Fremont, Ohio; her sisters, Lois George of Leipsic, Ohio, Betty Long of Bowling Green, Ohio, Donna Gordon of Hoytville, Sally (and Jim) McHaffie of Tiffin, Ohio, Nancy (and Jack) Sheidler of Pandora, Ohio, Dina (and Allen) Bowers of Deshler, Ohio, Mary Oxley of Naples, Fla. and Susan Sutton of Rensselaer, Ind.; her grandchildren: Brigitte Teyner, Brooke (and Jeremy) Cotterman, Brandy Thomas, Mason Bibler and Grant Bibler; her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Zander, Khloe, Jayce, Brody and Alaina.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Funk, and her sisters, Norma Oman and Dorothy George.
A funeral service is planned at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, North Baltimore, with Rev. Susan Kronbach officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation is planned from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore.
