Kymberly Jeanne Hassenzahl, 20, of Delta, Ohio, and formerly of Clinton, Mich., died Aug. 15, 2014, at her home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1993, in Adrian, Mich., to Dale Greggory "Gregg" Hassenzahl and Cambrea Lynn Somerlott.
Kymberly enjoyed softball and listening to music. She was a true cat-lover and was especially fond of her beloved pet, Peaches.
She is survived by her father, Dale “Gregg” Hassenzahl of Delta; her mother, Cambrea (and Willy) Baker of Clinton; siblings Falcon Hassenzahl of Delta, Billy Baker and Brian “Bootsie” Baker of Clinton; paternal grandparents, Dale and Sue Hassenzahl of Delta; paternal great-grandparents, Barbara Hassenzahl of Adrian, and Larry D. Borton of Morenci; maternal grandparents, Carl and Cindy Somerlott of Santa Claus, Ind.; maternal great-grandparents, Dick Somerlott and Janet Salamin, both of Santa Claus; step-grandmother, Sandy Baker of Clinton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kym was preceded in death by an uncle, Jeremy Rohr; cousin, Zach Rohr; paternal great-grandparents, Earl Hassenzahl, Jean Borton and Frank Schultz; maternal grandparents, Allen Lawler and Alice Jeanne Somerlott; and a step-grandfather, Brian Baker.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at Medina Federated Church, with Pastor Darren Lemmon officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci.
