MaryLee E. Hall, 86, formerly of Morenci, Mich., died May 24, 2014, at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester Hills, Mich.
She was born May 26, 1927, in Monroe, Mich., the daughter of Clyde and Georgia (Wormley) Brock. She married Harold R. Hall, Jr., on June 8, 1947, and he preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1994.
MaryLee graduated from Burnham High School in Sylvania, Ohio, in 1946, attended Davis Business College in Toledo, Ohio, and served as the city clerk in Morenci for 26 years. She was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Morenci Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
MaryLee is survived by three daughters, Janet Hughes (and Robert Brooker) of Tecumseh, Mich., Jackie (and Curtis) Jones of Almont, Mich., and Judy (and Scott) Potter of Ottawa Lake, Mich.; one son, H.R. “Skip” (and Joni) Hall III of Noonday, Texas; six grandchildren, Jenni (and Jay) Nollman, Aaron (and Mary) Hughes, Brock Hughes, Ryan Stack, H.R. “Hunter” Hall IV, and R. A. “Drew” (MK) Hall; four great-grandchildren, Seth, Nikki, Sidney and Payton Vanstaveren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Rev. Jerrold Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
