Rhonda E. Fredrick, 63, of Fayette, Ohio, died April 13, 2014, at the University of Toledo Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 19, 1950, to Eldo and Dorothy (Shaffer) Hibbard. She married Terry Fredrick on May 17, 1996, and he survives.
Rhonda graduated from Gorham Fayette High School in 1968 and lived her entire life in Fayette. She was employed for more than 15 years as a bus driver for Fayette Local Schools and served as a cashier and dishwasher for R and H Restaurant in Fayette for several years. Rhonda was an active member of the Fayette Firebelles for more than 30 years. She enjoyed playing cards at the Fayette American Legion, camping at the Fulton County Fair, and attending the various sporting events that involved her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived her mother, Dorothy Hibbard of Wauseon, Ohio; two sons, Brian (and Jolene) Myers and Shane Myers, all of Fayette; two brothers, Nelson Hibbard of Fayette, and Gary (and Linda) Hibbard of New Carlisle, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Jena and Jake Myers of Fayette.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eldo Hibbard; brother, Darrell Hibbard; and sister-in-law, Linda Hibbard.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette, with Pastor Gene Sugg officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations are suggested to the Fayette Firebelles or the Fayette Friends for the Fields.
