Harvey Delton Disbrow, 78, of Camburn Highway, Morenci, Mich., died March 15, 2014, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio.
He was born July 22, 1935, in Fulton County, Ohio, to the late Orville and Allis (Moe) Disbrow.
Harvey was a 1953 graduate of Chesterfield High School. A life-long farmer, he also worked as a telephone repairman for General Telephone, and retired in 1999 following more than 30 years of service. He enjoyed attending high school sporting events, and dearly loved his children and grandchildren. Harvey was a member of Raisin Presbyterian Church of Holloway.
Harvey is survived by two daughters, Trudy (and Kurt) Weddington of Sheridan, Ind., and Cindy (and Henry) Pieplow of Morenci; a son, Sidney (and Nikki) Disbrow of Sand Creek, Mich.; six grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Madelynn, Annabelle, Treyden and Avery; and two sisters, Joyce Bonin of Morenci, and Marlene Disbrow of Lyons, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Rodney.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Pastor John Trerice officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
