Almarion “Al” J. Timberman, 66, of Pittsford, Mich., died Feb. 23, 2014, at Toledo Hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Hudson, Mich., the son of Alvin L. "Dick" and Madeline A. (Barrett) Timberman.
Al was a 1966 graduate of Pittsford High School and was employed at Pittsford Gas & Tire for the past 20 years. He previously worked at Fayette Manufacturing. Al was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson and an usher and member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hillsdale.
He worked as a self-employed carpenter and painter, he enjoyed the outdoors and he was proud to work with Fr. H. Paul Ruddy on the renovation project at Sacred Heart Church. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, family.
Al is survived by four children, Angie Hoagle of Brooklyn, Mich., Mandy (and Mark) Avery of Avondale, Ariz., Dusty (and Brittany) Timberman of Morenci, Mich., and Becky (and Mike) Beals of West Unity, Ohio; five sisters, Bette Baron and Kathy Timberman of Pittsford, Marie Schang of Bryan, Ohio, Barbara Renner and Grace Henry of Hudson; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Erma Meredith.
A Mass of Christian Burial is planned at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson, with Fr. David Reamsnyder as celebrant. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
