Helen Louise Huston, 95, of Morenci, Mich., died Nov. 26, 2013, at Country Living near Hillsdale, Mich.
Helen was born May 30, 1918, in Chesterfield Township, Ohio, the daughter of Clifford and Amanda (Taylor) Head. On Aug. 12, 1936, in LaGrange, Ind., she married Duane Huston. He preceded her in death Dec. 11, 1997.
Helen lived in the Morenci area all of her life. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and earned a dietary assistant degree from the University of Florida. She was formerly employed at Morenci Area Hospital as a dietary assistant for 13 years, retiring May 25, 1983.
Helen is survived by three daughters, Sandra Borton of Hillsdale, Linda (and Mark) Rorick of Morenci, and Pamela (and Alan) Boydston of Caro, Mich.; a brother, Clifford Head, Jr., of Texas; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Doris Head of Fayette, Ohio.
Besides her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Natalie Huston; a granddaughter, Amy Rorick; two sisters, Kathryn Borton and Phyllis Kibbee; two brothers, William Head and Stanley Head; and a son-in-law, Galen Borton.
Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Rev. Jim Yatzek officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and at 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
