Nancie M. Beaverson, 79, of rural Fayette, Ohio, died Nov. 15, 2013, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, Ohio.
She was born May 19, 1934, in Fulton County, Ohio, to the late Murlin and Mary (Tappan) Falor. She married Harvey J. Beaverson on June 8, 1952, in Swanton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death May 22, 2013.
Nancie was raised in Delta, Ohio, and graduated from Delta High School in 1952. In addition to her work as a housewife and raising her children, she was employed many years at the former Sun Drug Store in Fayette, and later worked at the Field of Memories antique store in Archbold. Nancie is remembered for her love of bargain hunting, from area garage sales to antiquing.
Nancie is survived by three children, Beverly (and Larry) Ledyard of Wauseon, Ohio, Daryl (and Joni) Beaverson of Morenci, Mich., and Paul (and Jeri Sue) Beaverson of Fayette; a sister, Sue (and Ken) Biddle of Delta; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Ray Falor, and a sister, Marilyn Clay.
Funeral services are planned at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Lauber Hill Reformed Mennonite Church, with Mark Bankert and Jim Basinger officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette.
