Keith E. Allion, 77, of Alvordton, Ohio, died Oct. 5, 2013, at Toledo Hospital.
He was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Wauseon, Ohio, to the late Wilbur and Vida (Mason) Allion. He married Joan M. Weber on Aug. 30, 1973, in Kunkle, Ohio, and she survives.
Keith graduated from Gorham Fayette High School and attended the University of Toledo, where he studied architecture. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Keith retired from Dayton-Walther in Fayette following more than 30 years of employment.
Keith had a great passion for horse racing and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He will be remembered for his great love of his family and his special attention to his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by a daughter, Cindy (and Mike) Raabe of Pioneer, Ohio; a brother, Wilbur “Bud” Allion of Mint Hill, N.C.; a sister, Una Bea Allion of Fayette; two grandchildren, Tara Mansur and Shawn Ferguson; four great-grandchildren, Destiny, Brodie, Jarred and Aza; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Erica, Nicolas and Jessica.
Visitation is planned from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette. Military rites conducted by the Fulton County Honor Guard will follow visitation at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the family.
