Gail Bernath, 61, of Waldron, Mich., died Dec. 15, 2011.
She was born July 5, 1950, in Heidrick, Ky., the daughter of William and Ona Mae (Tuggle) Gregory. On Sept. 14, 1968, in Hudson, Mich., she married Dennis Bernath and he survives.
Gail lived in Waldron since 1987. She was an active participant in drama at Souls Harbor Church in Montpelier, Ohio, for three years. She was formerly employed at Hardee’s in West Unity, Ohio, and worked in the medical field as an aide. Gail was known to always be there for those in need.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Susan (and Jeff) Maxson of Hudson; five sons, David Bernath of Hudson, Daniel (and Tena) Bernath of Osseo, Mich., Daryl Bernath of Waldron, William Bernath of Hudson and Brian Bernath of Waldron; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Marsha (and Frank) Kramic of Morenci, Mich., and Ernestine (and Paul) Wagers of London, Ky.; and a brother, Bennie (and Beverly) Gregory of Morenci.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Jesse James Bernath and Maverick Ryan Bernath; and two brothers, Dwayne and Denver “Ray” Gregory.
A private graveside service will be planned at the Waldron Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci.
