Michael James Barnhart, 41, of Morenci, Mich., died Dec. 10, 2011, at ProMedica Bixby Hospital.
He was born Feb. 26, 1970. He married Ronda Gilbert on Nov. 18, 2010, in Toledo, Ohio, and she survives.
Michael was employed by Wacker Chemical Company for the past 16 years and was co-owner of JAM Productions DJ Service. He was a member of the Eagles of Adrian. He was an avid golfer and hunter and was a big fan of Bob Dylan and the Minnesota Vikings.
Besides his wife, Michael is survived by his mother, Delores Barnhart Linehan of Adrian; his children, Derek Barnhart of Manitou Beach, Mich., Matthew Barnhart of Morenci, Taylor Barnhart and Jessie Barnhart, both of Addison, Mich., and Roxann, Rachell, and Roger Robinson, Jr., all of Morenci; a brother, Jack Still of Otisville, Mich.; aunts and uncles, Betty DuVall of Lambertville, Mich., Marilyn Papworth of Oscoda, Mich., and Steve and Delight Bowerman, Jack and Barb Blaker, David and Debbie Blaker, and Dan and Debbie Dusseau, all of Adrian.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Michael Linehan; an uncle, Raymond Barnhart; grandparents, Glen and Lucile Barnhart; and a granddaughter, Miley Marie Barnhart.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Anderson Funeral Home in Adrian with Jack Blaker officiating. Visitation is planned from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a trust fund for Michael’s children.
