Myron Hallett, 59, of Fayette, Ohio, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, in Eaton, Ohio.
He was born Oct. 21, 1951, in Morenci, Mich., the son of Clifford and Janet (Murphy) Hallett.
Myron worked as a long haul truck driver for more than 35 years. He was a 1969 graduate of Morenci Area High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from February 1971 through February 1974. He was a member of the Morenci American Legion Post #368 and a member of the Wauseon VFW.
Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany (and Rick) Fillmore of Quincy, Mich.; two sons, Dustin Hallett of Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, South Dakota, and Steven Hallett of Howell, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Brody, Cady and Kody Fillmore.
Myron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Steven and Merrill Hallett.
A memorial service is planned at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, with Rev. William VanValkenburg officiating. Visitation is scheduled from noon until the time of service Monday. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci.
