Faye Gene (Weasel) Brown, 81, of Adrian, Mich., formerly of Tecumseh, Mich., died Oct. 27, 2006 at Lynwood Manor.
She was born March 4, 1925 in Deerfield, Mich., the daughter of William and Alvina (Schurg) Weasel. She married Wallace (Bill) D. Brown in Angola, Ind., on May 28, 1947, and he preceded her in death.
Faye Gene was a resident of Tecumseh from 1956 until 1998. Prior to that, she and her husband, Bill, lived and worked at the Devils Lake Hotel in Manitou Beach. She also worked at the Deerfield Grain Elevator as secretary and bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Tecumseh and their Rosary Altar Society.
Faye Gene is survived by three children, Barbara (and Jon) Wright and Brenda (and Jack) Gillen, both of Morenci, and Bradley (and Yvonne) Brown of Centennial, Colo., and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald Lee; two brothers, and two sisters.
A Memorial Mass is planned at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Tecumseh with Fr. Daniel Wheeler officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
