Lillian Ford, 86, of Morenci, Mich., died April 26, 2010, at Heartland of Wauseon, Ohio.

She was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Ridgeway, Mich., the daughter of George and Agnes (Cox) Wright.  On Aug. 12, 1944, in Clinton, Mich., she married Hal D. Ford.  He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1976.

Lillian was a graduate of the Clinton High School.  She was a homemaker and seamstress living in the Morenci area most all of her life and she was a member of the Adrian Solo Adults Club for about 20 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Georgia (and Jack) Zuvers of Morenci; two sons, Richard (and Marie) Ford of Sylvania, Ohio, and David (and Connie) Ford of Morenci; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Hal, Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Garrett Shaffer.

A funeral service is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Pastor Nate Elarton  officiating.  A private burial will take place at the Lime Creek Cemetery  in Medina Township.  Visitation is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Stair Public Library, Make a Wish Foundation or a charity of donor’s choice.
