Eva M. Yeider, 99, of Waldron, Mich., died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1910, in Liberty Twp., Mich., the daughter of Homer C. and Civilla (Lake) Adams. She married Fred Marsh and he preceded her in death in 1948 and she then married Fred Yeider and he preceded her in death in 1987.
Eva was a resident of Michigan all but eight years of her life when she resided in Laten, Calif. from 1933 to 1941. She dedicated the majority her life to her family and hard work.
Surviving Eva is one daughter, Barbara Sorgenfrie of Waldron; two sons, Robert Marsh of Alba, Mich., and Lowell (and Judy) Marsh of Evart, Mich.; one sister, Wilma Gilbert of Jackson, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents;, two husbands; one sister, Elizabeth Mercer; one brother, Leo Adams; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services are planned at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at East Liberty Cemetery in Liberty Twp., Mich., with Robert Marsh, Jr., officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were made by Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
