Ellamary DeLine, 86, died Friday, May 1, 2009, at her home in Clayton, Mich.
Ellamary was born July 10, 1922, in Clayton, the daughter of John and Naomi C. (Wetherbee) Dowling.
She graduated from Clayton High School in 1941. Ellamary married Roscoe B. DeLine on July 5, 1943, in Clayton. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1987.
Surviving Ellamary are her four children, Dixie (and Clarence) Wright of Hudson, Mich., Lynette Davis of Clayton, Dan (and Amy) DeLine of Adrian, Mich., and Calvin (and Beth) DeLine of Adrian; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Erla Sawdy and Jacqueline (and Wendell) Shephard; three sisters-in-law, Jean Isley, Ardith and Dorothy Dowling; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers John, Clifton and Lyman Dowling; sisters Wanda (and Myron) Hutchison, Jeanette (and Kenneth) Lockwood, Rosalyn Dowling and brothers-in-law Elmer Thomas and Dan Sawdy.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. Calvin Walden officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is planned from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 4.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Lenawee County or Reformed Baptist Church in Adrian.
