Noble Raymond Dean, 87, of Swanton, Ohio, formerly of Mountain Home, Ark., died April 15, 2009.
He was born July 8, 1921, in Robinson, Ill., the son of Noble R. Dean, Sr., and Beulah B. Leathers. He married Jeanne Buffington on Nov. 27, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, and she preceded him in death.
Noble worked as a millwright and electrician for the DeVillbiss Co. in Toledo for 43 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He lived in Mountain Home from 1983 to 2009. He was a member of Alley-White American Legion Post 52.
Noble is survived by two daughters, Cathy Allion of Morenci and Diane (and Doug) Binkley of Delta, Ohio; one stepson, Michael (and Kari) Dooley of Swanton, Ohio; one son, Charles (and Patricia) Dean of Hudson; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Gracie.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Randy Allion.
Funeral services were April 20 in Mountain Home with Rev. Michael Shy officiating. He was laid to rest in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home.
