Rosella M. “Rosie” Richardson, 88, of Delta, Ohio, died Feb. 12, 2009, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon, Ohio.
She was born June 27, 1920, in Delta, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur M. and Ethel M. Yawberg Chamberlin. She married Gaylord W. Richardson on July 20, 1939, and he preceded her in death March 21, 1999.
Rosie was a bookkeeper for her husband’s business. She was also employed at the Lyons Variety Store, The Anderson’s as a cashier, the Trading Post in Lyons and the Morenci IGA store. She was a member of the Universalist Unitarian Church in Lyons. She attended auctioneer school and was a volunteer at Fulton Manor. She enjoyed clogging and belly dancing.
Rosie is survived by three children, Ivan (and Pam) Richardson of Jonesville, Mich., Sharon (and Joe) Eich of Toledo, Ohio, and Lynn (and Linda) Richardson of Delta; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-granddaughters; a sister, Pat (and Don) Burgoon of Delta; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Chamberlin of Delta.
Besides her husband, Rosie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lewis Chamberlin.
Funeral services were Feb. 16 at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Rev. Lynn Kerr officiating.
