Dorothy Davis, 90, of Morenci, Mich., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at the Fulton Manor in Wauseon, Ohio.
She was born June 10, 1918, in Medina Township, the daughter of Walter and Caroline (Burkholder) Kutzley. On June 10, 1937, in Morenci, she married Cletus Edwin Davis. He preceded her in death June 28, 1982.
Dorothy was a homemaker living all of her life in the Morenci area and was a member of the Munson United Brethren Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet (and Richard) Tinney of Waldron, Mich., Cretta (and Ronald) Ely of Waldron and Judy (and George) Walton of Adrian, Mich.; a son, Ivan (and Sandy) Davis of Morenci; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Victor Kutzley of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Besides her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Keefer; two sisters, Irene Figgins and Bernita Schmidt; and a brother, Howard Kutzley.
Funeral service are planned at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with grandsons Glenn Flint and Stephen Flint and Pastor Paul Webster officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
