Rebecca Sly-DuSold, 50, died Nov. 13, 2008, at the home of her parents near Fayette, Ohio.
Becky was born Sept. 1, 1958, to Donald and Grace (Eckert) Sly. After a two-year battle with brain cancer, Becky left St. Anthony’s and her home on Polk Street in Crown Point, Ind., to receive hospice care in the home of her parents.
Becky’s career was in sales, first with Osterman Jewelers, then with NITCO, Graybar, and finally with Aflac and Farmer’s Insurance. She was loved and respected by clients and friends for her warm and giving nature.
Through trials she maintained a love of life, and most important in her life was her love for her children. She will be greatly missed.
Becky was a member of Bethel Church, Crown Point.
She is survived by her children, Anjanette G. DuSold and George W. DuSold; Dan DuSold; her brother, Joe (and Linda) Sly of Fayette; her sister, Susan (and Bruce) Burke of Sarasota, Fla.; her cousin, Sandra (and Eric) Klingler of Hillsdale, Mich.; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Fayette Christian Church (Disciples) with Rev. Gene Sugg officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until service time.
Arrangements were made by Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Fayette Christian Church or Hospice of Fulton and Williams Counties.
