Ellen Elizabeth Schoepflin, 62, of Fayette, Ohio, died Sept. 20, 2008, at her son's home in Charloe, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 17, 1946, in Parsons, W. Va., to Charles and Goldie (Long) Knicley. She married Stephen Schoepflin, Sr., and he preceded her in death.
Ellen was employed at Palm Plastics in Morenci, Mich. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing and reading, and she dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by four daughters, Anna (and Dean) Boger of Lyons, Ohio, Rebecca (and Roland) Sabara of Clare, Mich., Madonna (and John) Tejkl of Lyons, Ohio, and Danielle Millard of Fayette; one son, Steve (and Paula) Schoepflin, Jr., of Paulding, Ohio; one sister, Anna (and Larry) Ely of Morenci; three brothers, Wilbert (and Pat) Knicley of Lyons, and William Knicley and John (and Madonna) Knicley, both of Morenci; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Alice Lixey.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette, Ohio with Rev. Mary Jo Bray officiating. Interment will follow in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
