Wilma Cloe Leady, 88, of Wauseon, Ohio, and formerly of Morenci, Mich., died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Fulton County Health Center.
She was born June 21, 1919, in Leipsic, Ohio, to DeForest and Neva I. (Warren) Dildine. She married to Floyd Christopher Leady on May 10, 1947, in Morenci. He preceded her in death March 2, 1983.
Wilma was a member of AARP and the Red Hat Society. She loved to crotchet and garden.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Leady and Keith (and Cathy) Leady, all of Wauseon; a daughter-in-law, Terry Millard of Morenci; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Bill Schmidt; a son, Bruce Leady; three step-brothers, John, Ed and Fred Schmidt; and a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Leady.
At Wilma’s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Swanton, Ohio, with Pastor Brian Haller officiating. Private burial of cremains will be in Weston Cemetery, Weston, Mich.
