Doris Gould, 83, of Addison died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mich.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1924, in Weston, Mich., the daughter of Milford “John” and Helen (Foster) Blood. On May 1, 1942, in Newport Ky., she married Robert Gould and he survives.
Doris has lived in Addison for the past 10 years, moving from Texas. She was employed at the Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian as a physical therapist.
Besides her husband, Doris is survived by two daughters, Joyce (and James) Sampson of British Columbia, Canada, and Linda (and Dave) White of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Hal Robert Gould of Pinckney, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Anna Glodine Gordon; and two brothers, Foster and Joseph Blood.
Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Rev. William VanValkenburg officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. Visitation is planned Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.
