She was born Sept. 15, 1918, in Gibsonburg, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Gertrude (Phillips) Davis. She married John E. Dominique on Jan. 16, 1943, in Mississippi, and he preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1999. On May 5, 2001, she married William Whiteside in Florida, and he survives.
Geraldine lived most of her life in the Canandaigua area. She and her first husband, John, worked as vegetable farmers and she also worked out of her home as a beautician.
Besides her husband, Geraldine is survived by three daughters, Sandra (and Kenneth) Griffith of Deerfield, Marcia (and Max) Grieder of Bird Lake and Paulette (and Ronald) Lada of Whitehouse, Ohio; two sons, Jack (and Connie) Dominique of Clayton and Dennis (and Tina) Dominique of Morenci; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Zulger, Phylliss Wellman and Bernie Black; and three brothers, Glenn, Marv and Ronald Davis.
Besides her first husband, John, Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don and Raymond Davis.
A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. May 3 at the Eagle Funeral Home in Morenci.
