Norma Jean Fallot, 82, of Morenci, Mich., died May 15, 2006 at Charles Fay Village in Morenci.
She was born Aug. 15, 1923 in Redford Township, Mich., the daughter of John M. and Lucinda (Wolfram) Waldecker. She married Harold P. Fallot on May 16, 1942 in South Lyon, Mich., and he preceded her in death Aug. 10, 1985.
Norma was a long-time member of the English Lutheran Church of Bluffton, Ohio, and was a member of Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church in Adrian.
Norma is survived by her children, John (and Betty) Fallot of Hillman, Mich., Lana (and the late Richard) Taylor and Peter (and Diana) Fallot, both of Morenci, and Susan (and John) Stover of Coldwater; a brother, Frank (and Wilma) Waldecker of Brooksville, Fla.; sisters, Geraldine (and Clyde) Hodgson of Williamston, Mich. and Esther (and the late Charles) Travis of Arkansas; a brother-in-law, Donald Scheel of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren (list in parentheses), Christine (Taylor), Kristine (Cody, Chelsea), Connie (Jennifer, Christopher), Lauree (Alyssa, Tori), John Matthew (Caden), Michael (Josh, Jessica, Brooke), Jeffrey (Jane, Chloe, Grace), Guy (Granya), Boyd (Annie, Ethan), Rachel (Reace, Brysen), Curt (Caralee, Caitlyn), Kelly (Dalton, Dillon), Kim (Nicole), Cindy (Austin, Allison), Josiah and Samuel.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elizabeth Scheel.
Visitation is planned today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Braun Everiss Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian. Funeral services are scheduled at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church in Adrian with Pastor Richard Rentner officiating. Visitation is also planned from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, Mich. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church Memorial Garden Fund or Hospice of Lenawee.
