Betty Grant, 76, of Fayette, Ohio, died Nov. 7, 2007, at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

She was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Hudson, the daughter of Glen and Ruby (Luft) Schoonover.

Betty was a life-long resident of the Morenci/Fayette area. She was formerly employed at Sheridan Manufacturing in Wauseon, from where she retired.  Betty was a member of the Morenci American Legion Auxiliary Post #368.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis (and Howard) Miller of Fayette and Nancy (and Danny) Hammack of Adrian; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Keith; a sister, Helen Zuvers; and three brothers, LeRoy, Glen and Rollin Schoonover.

Funeral service are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Rev. William VanValkenburg officiating.  Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette. Visitation is planned from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of donor’s choice.
