He was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Stanley J. and Frances (Sadowski) Abramczyk. He married Brigitte Schmidt on Aug. 20, 1967, in Clevelan and she survives.
Stanley previously lived in the Detroit area before moving to Morenci in 1990. He retired from Fayette Tubular in 1995, and then operated a fruit and vegetable stand at his home.
Stanley was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church and he was a U.S. Marines Korean War veteran. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports and cards.
Surviving Stanley besides his wife, Brigitte, of Morenci are seven children: Samantha Abramczyk of Tipton, Mich., Amanda (and Troy) Dominique of Pittsford, Mich., Stanley Abramczyk of Bowling Green, Ohio, Susie (and Charlie) Meuse of Oxnard, Calif., Patty Abramczyk of Euclid, Ohio, Dian (and Brian) Pennebaker and Tim (and Rose) Abramczyk, all of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Paul, and one son, Ronald.
Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Fr. Richard Eberle officiating. Military interment by the Fulton County Honor Guard will follow in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
