Martha E. Koppenhofer, 74, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Jan. 3, 2006 at Arbors at Sylvania in Sylvania, Ohio.

She was born May 27, 1931 in Napoleon, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Precht) Miller. She married Alton Koppenhofer on Nov. 27, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1978. She was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon.

Martha is survived by three daughters, Karen (and Dave) Wyse and Kathy (and Carl) Hamilton, both of Pettisville, and Cheryl Hahn of Adrian; one son, Jerry (and Kathy) Koppenhofer of Wauseon; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Arthur (and Jackie) Miller of Napoleon and three sisters, Regina Cordes, Anna (and Donald) Lammers and Ruth (and Richard) Bertz, all of Napoleon.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Harold and Norman Miller.

Funeral services were Jan. 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon with Rev. Tim Sonnenberg and Rev. Scott Silcox officiating. Burial followed in Wauseon Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor’s choice. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon handled the arrangements.
