The Fayette Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 25 to consider a zoning variance application for property located at 405 N. Fayette St.
Property owner Mike Figgins would like to build an addition and garage onto his existing house, but plans call for the structure to sit only 11 feet from the street right-of-way. Because the addition would face the street, the usual 25-foot setback is required. Figgins seeks a variance that would allow him to build within the setback.
Anyone wishing to comment on the application should send a letter to village hall before the meeting or speak at the hearing.
